The journey with Jesus involves living as He intended and passing it on to others. It begins with Following Jesus, which means fully engaging in life with Him (Luke 9:23-25). This leads to Knowing, where believers grow in their understanding of Scripture, discern truth, and deepen their relationship with God (Matt. 16:24; Eph. 4:14; Ps. 119:105; John 17:17).
Living Out follows, as individuals embody Christ’s love in their interactions with family, friends, coworkers, and strangers (Luke 10:27). Growth continues through Cultivating, which involves daily spiritual practices that strengthen faith and deepen a Christ-like lifestyle (Gal. 2:20; John 10:10). As believers mature, they experience Christ-like Virtues, developing qualities such as love, joy, and peace through their connection with Jesus and others (Gal. 5:22-23; Phil. 4:12).
Finally, the journey leads to Passing It On, where believers make disciples by sharing their faith and mentoring others in their walk with Jesus (Matt. 28:19-20; 2 Tim. 2:2). This cyclical process ensures continuous spiritual growth and multiplication of faith in others. Click on the link below for a PDF illustration of the spiritual life process.
