“They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers.” Acts 2:42 (The Message)

The 242 Blog
The 242 Blog is all about helping churches get back to the heart of what really matters. The early church in Acts 2:42 set the foundation, and we’re here to help churches build on it.
Through this blog, we share practical insights, resources, and encouragement to help churches refocus on four key areas: biblical teaching, genuine community, living life with Jesus, and cultivating a passion for what matters most as His followers. Our goal is to equip and inspire churches to grow in a way that’s not just sustainable, but transformative.
Discover. Grow. Go.
- The Discover phase of the spiritual life process focuses on learning who Jesus is, understanding His teachings, and embracing the foundational truths of Scripture to deepen one’s commitment to following Him.
- The Grow phase of the spiritual life process is about deepening one’s relationship with Jesus through spiritual practices, personal transformation, and active engagement in the faith community.
- The Go phase of the spiritual life process is about actively living out one’s faith by serving others, sharing the gospel, and making disciples. It involves stepping into God’s mission, demonstrating Christ’s love in everyday life, and passing on the life with Jesus to others.
Refocusing on what matters: biblical teaching, genuine community, and living life the way Jesus intended and passing it on to others.
